Description
Noesis is a surreal 3D psychological horror game set deep within the mind of a psychiatric patient, where unconventional mechanics inspired by mental illness, such as an invisible maze revealed by closed eyes an escapeless maze solved by inaction, and a Penrose stairs boss level providing escape or entrapment challenge the player’s perception of reality as their own sanity degrades.
About The Game
This game was made for Ludum Dare 57. The theme of the game jam is Depths. Our group consisting of 4 game design students decided to use the theme of depths to explore the depths of the mind of a psychiatric patient
Controls
WASD - Movement
F - Close Eyes
E - Open Doors
Escape - Menu
Download
Install instructions
1. Install the ZIP file
2. Extract the ZIP file by right-clicking the file and clicking either "Extract All" or "Extract Here" which is dependant on your system
3. Open the newly created folder and navigate to the main folder with the executable if necessary
4. Run the "Depth" executable to play the game
